J L Ogilvie Moderator	posted 06-01-2004 09:43 AM Well said JB. I would like to extend my thanks also and as a veteran, a humble thanks to you. I told my dad thanks one time, when I was sixteen, for fighting in WW11. He told me "I didn't do it for thanks,I did do it for you kids and because it was the right thing to do". You remember when TV would play the National Anthem at the end of programming for the day? I used to stand up and sing along. I wonder what happened to that type of patriotism? detector Administrator	posted 06-01-2004 09:51 AM Thanks for posting that JB. I'm not sure why but I pretty much avoid all the usual 'holiday talk' in the actual newsletter. But I have to say, I really am so very greatful for those who have served and who serve to protect our country.
